Founder & Philosophy

Most people don't need more tips. They need clear judgment applied quickly, and without noise.

Founder Story

I created ClearSkies Concierge for people who approach money intentionally – even when they can afford not to.

Before focusing on points and travel strategy, I spent more than two decades in roles where judgment and trust were non-negotiable: as a concierge at the Disneyland Hotel, in executive-level marketing and communications leadership, and in financial services, where I held Series 7 and Series 24 licenses.

Across those roles, the throughline was consistent: complex information, high expectations, and decisions that mattered. I've always been drawn to complex systems - and to simplifying them. Dense, technical information doesn't overwhelm me; I take layered details and distill them into clear, confident choices.

Over the last several years, I applied that same discipline to points, miles, and credit strategy for my own family. In a three-year span, I earned more than 10 million points and redeemed over 7.5 million for premium cabin flights and luxury hotels that would have cost more than $250,000 in cash - while spending under $8,000 out of pocket. During that same period, I generated more than $38,000 in bank bonuses while maintaining disciplined credit practices: no late payments, no unintentional interest, and careful management of a large portfolio of cards.

ClearSkies exists because most people don't need more tips. They need judgment.

We don't chase hacks. We don't sell travel. We don't earn affiliate commisions.

We help clients decide when to spend cash, when to deploy points, and how to align travel decisions with broader financial priorities – calmly and intentionally.

You can question why I enjoy the details.
Or you can benefit from them.

Philosophy of intentional wealth use

Points and miles are not a hobby to me. They are a form of capital.

ClearSkies is built on the belief that travel decisions deserve the same discipline as any other financial decision. Not optimization for its own sake – but thoughtful allocation aligned with long-term priorities.

  • We don't chase every bonus.
  • We don't recommend cards that don't fit how you actually live.
  • We don't believe in "free travel" if it comes with stress, debt, or regret.

Independent advice... only works when it’s truly independent.

Why ClearSkies avoids affiliates

ClearSkies does not accept commissions from credit card issuers.

This is intentional.

Affiliate structures can subtly influence recommendations – even when well-meaning. They create incentives tied to specific products rather than to your broader strategy.

Our recommendations are made solely on the basis of fit:

  • Your existing cards
  • Your spending patterns
  • Your travel goals
  • Your long-term sequencing
